Meet the Photographer

Hello! Nice to meet you!

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Kourtney, I am the owner and operator of Brighter Focus Photography. I was born and raised in Belvidere, IL, and now you will find me raising my own family here!

Speaking of my family, I have an amazingly supportive husband, 4 beautiful kiddos, and 1 rowdy Rogue (Our dog). My passion for photography started at home. I wanted to capture my kids every move. My husband bought me my first camera in 2013 and the rest is history!

I started my business with photography in 2014. I have loved watching all of my clients and their families grow and change over the years. I love being a part of each milestone while capturing all of my clients emotions and memories in photographs.
